In this essay, I reach out to all artists in 2023 who are frustrated with the current state of being an artist in the age of algorithms, marketing language and conformity. Together, I hope to usher in alternatives to "reset" the notion of what it means to be an artist. I reference several sources throughout: J.R.R. Tolkien, Valentin Tomberg, Hugo Rahner, Michael Martin, Hans Urs von Balthasar, and others.
